About Vanessa
Portfolio
Her striking portfolio of artwork ranges from landscapes, which are inspired by water and travel experiences, through to stylish nude paintings, abstract art and Vanessa’s latest exciting innovation – works on metal (aluminium and stainless steel). This luminous new medium has attracted a great deal of interest, earning Vanessa a finalist’s place in the 2008 Paddington Art Prize.
Vanessa’s evocative artwork can be found in collections throughout Australia, the Netherlands, Japan, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Canada, Singapore, the USA and United Kingdom.
Exhibitions
Vanessa is a Resident Artist at ART GALLERY on Darling and her work is represented at all times in the Gallery in Balmain. With SOLO and Group shows there is always new work to view, meet the artist and enjoy Opening Night Drinks with Vanessa and the other Artist of the ART GALLERY on Darling Group.
Teaching

Always fun and very ‘real’, Vanessa loves to expound on her passion for art, life and personal growth whilst bringing art into the lives of others and maybe making a difference. Her generosity of her work practice makes her very popular even with beginners and professional artists wanting to learn something different and loosen up.
Giving back
Like many artists, Vanessa likes to give something back to her local community and through philanthropy has donated many paintings to fundraisers and worthy causes. Her stunning work attracts great interest and raises much needed funds for the worthy causes.

Prior to this Vanessa was involved in many group and solo shows within the Sydney area being in the Harris Courtin Gallery stable and was one of their highest selling artist.
Vanessa was a founding member of Roseville Art Gallery. Represented by Nolan Galleries, Katoomba, and Mingarra Gallery, on Phillip Island. Vanessa is also shown at Moree Gallery in Moree.
